CANDERM PUTS A FACE TO NEOSTRATA NAME

Skin care marketer Canderm Pharma, based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, has put a face to its NeoStrata "dermo-cosmetic" product line, that of actress Chantal Fontaine. Fontaine, as the new spokesperson for the line, is appearing in a new national advertising campaign. The television-only campaign broke in the Quebec market yesterday and will roll out nationally tomorrow. The ads, using the tagline "Your beauty secrets. No one will tell, not even time.", will promote NeoStrata's Anti Aging Duo and Vitamin C radiance concentrate products. "We have developed a strategy that will enable us to effectively convey the many benefits of our products to a very large target market,' said Barry Vogel, president of Canderm Pharma. The campaign runs until mid-May, targeting women 35- to 45-years-of-age. The spots were designed by Pierre Audet and produced by Jet Film. Media relations in English Canada are being handled by Cormark MacPhee of Toronto and in French Canada by Communications Helene Bouchard of Montreal.
