COCA-COLA PLAYING MUSIC PROMOTION

Toronto-based Coca-Cola Ltd. has teamed up with MuchMusic and Mymusic.ca in its largest music partnership ever. For the next three months, specially-marked bottles of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Barq's Root Beer and Cool from Nestea will feature a $5-off coupon behind the label for CDs available to purchase on mymusic.ca. Consumers can also look under the cap for the chance to win one of three concert trips to see any band included on MuchMusic's Big Shiny Tunes 5 CD. To support the promotion a 30-second spot began running on MuchMusic and MusiquePlus yesterday and will continue for four-weeks. The program and supporting television commercial were created by Marketing Drive Canada of Toronto.
