COGNOS TAKES A MOMENT

Cognos Inc., based in Ottawa, is rolling out a print advertising campaign in Canadian Business magazine that is part of a global branding initiative. The initiative is aiming to increase awareness of the Cognos brand as well as create a new image for the software maker. Targeting senior business executives and key decision-makers, the creative is based around the notion of the "Cognos Moment," Tanya Pobuda, public relations manager at Cognos explained. The "Cognos Moment" is the "eureka" moment when a customer has a flash of insight powered by Cognos software. The print campaign is running until the end of the year. CGN of Boston created the new branding initiative and supporting advertising.
