REDESIGNED R.O.B. MAGAZINE DEBUTS

The Globe and Mail debuted its redesigned monthly business magazine on Friday with a new name, a new look and new features and columns. Previously called Report on Business Magazine, R.O.B. Magazine was redesigned by the newspaper's magazine design team. "The new R.O.B. Magazine speaks to our longstanding readership of Canadian managers and executives, as well as the legion of young, upstart businesspeople driving the economy today," said Nigel Horne, editorial director of R.O.B.. New columns include: R.O.B. Globetrotter, a guide to world cities; R.O.B. Money, a section on person finances; and Design, which contains information on workplace architecture and design. The magazine's re-launch is being promoted on newspaper boxes with display cards created in-house, as well as with ads in the paper and on national radio from BBDO Canada of Toronto. The launch is also being supported with public relations from Environics Communications of Toronto.
