CANADA BRICK BUILDS NEW LOGO

Canada Brick Limited, based in Streetsville, Ontario has updated its corporate logo. The brick manufacturer began rolling out the new logo at the end of August. It features the letters "c" and "b" in a lower case font, separated by three dots which symbolize the core holes of a brick. The logo will appear on the company's promotional and collateral materials, packaging and marketing pieces. AKA Communications of Toronto worked with the 44-year-old company to develop the update, the first change that has ever been made to this logo. "As the leader in the industry, we designed a new logo that reflects the image of a progressive company committed to growth in the masonry segment of the construction industry," said Canada Brick's vice president of sales and marketing, Frank Buck. Previously Canada Brick's logo consisted of the letters "c" and "b", a stack of three bricks and a maple leaf. About 11 years ago the company added the slogan "The Real McCoy" to its corporate image. The new logo replaces both the old logo and slogan. Public relations for Canada Brick are handled by Argyle Rowland Worldwide of Toronto.
