Vickers & Benson Direct Interactive welcomes a trio of new employees to its offices. Stephen Newport and Sylvia Bauer join Vickers & Benson Interactive in the newly created positions of vice president of operations and director, marketing, respectively. Prior to joining VBDI, Newport and Bauer were both with ExtendMedia. He worked as vice president of organizational efforts and human resources and she held the same position of director, marketing. Vickers & Benson Direct welcomes its newest account director Suzanne Hampson. In her new role, Hampson will be working on the Lennox Retail Canada and Lennox Industries accounts. Hampson joins the agency with experience on both the client and agency sides. Most recently, she worked as senior manager of marketing communications at CIBC and prior to that, worked at Impiric with clients Canadian Tire Acceptance Ltd., DirectProtect and Maclean Hunter.
Page 1 has announced several new additions to its staff. Malcolm McLean is appointed senior account supervisor on the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Bestfoods accounts. He comes to Page 1 from BBDO where he most recently worked as an account supervisor. Jacqueline Parker is appointed account supervisor also working on the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts account. Previously, she was marketing manager with Command Post & Transfer Corporation. Amy Weizman joins the agency in the role of assistant account manager. Weizman is a recent graduate of the University of Manitoba with a creative communications degree from Red River College in Manitoba.
