Barry Patterson joins Astral Television Networks Inc., effective today, as manager of communications and program publicity. He joins Astral from Famous Players Inc. where he most recently served as national media relations manager.
Benchmark Porter Novelli has promoted Lizanne McReelis to senior hardware consultant, Tanya Elliott to software consultant, Jason Kinnear to hardware consultant and Megan Sullivan to hardware communication co-ordinator. McReelis moves into her new position, providing strategic counsel to Hewlett-Packard, Conexys and GIS Global Imaging Solutions, after working as a hardware consultant. Elliott, who now organizes media relations for clients Hummingbird and Descartes, previously worked as a software co-ordinator. Kinnear, who manages public relations for clients Oracle and Bid.com, most recently worked as a hardware co-ordinator. Sullivan is promoted to her new role after working as an accountant in the agency's accounting division. She will be working on the Hewlett-Packard, Conexys and GIS Global Imaging Solutions accounts.
