PRIME RESTAURANTS EXPANDS EAST SIDE MARIO'S MENU

Canadian casual dining chain Prime Restaurant Group Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario has acquired the worldwide rights to the East Side Mario's restaurant brand. Previously Prime held the only the Canadian master license rights to the brand. Prime bought the naming rights from East Side Mario's Restaurants, Inc., an affiliate of Marie Callender Pie Shops, Inc. of Orange, California. Financial details were not disclosed. Currently there are 75 East Side Mario's restaurants in Canada and ten in the United States. Public relations for Prime Restaurants are handled by Thornley Fallis Communications of Toronto.
