COSSETTE READING LA PRESSE

One of Montreal's three French-language daily newspapers, La Presse, has moved its advertising account to Cossette Communication-Marketing, according to a report in Ad Age. The account had previously been with Publicis-BCP for the past six years. The move in agencies follows a change in publishers at La Presse last April when Guy Crevier took over from Roger Landry. Crevier was former president of Motion International. Landry had been publisher of the daily for the past two decades. La Presse has a weekday circulation of 168,203. Its Saturday and Sunday readership is 265,973 and 178,730, respectively.
