CAPEZIO SHOES RETURNS TO RADIO AIRWAVES
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Capezio Shoes is marking the company's return to radio advertising after a four year hiatus with the launch of a new three-week campaign. The radio spots are running in the Toronto market only on station such as CISS FM and Hits 103.5. Two new spots are targeting women between 12 and 35. The first ad, "Foot Intervention", features a group of young women who demand their friend get some "serious shoe help" at Capezio. The second spot called "Margaret's Feet" tells the tale of Margaret's feet demanding they receive the same attention as Margaret's designer clothing. Both spots use humor to build awareness for Capezio. Capezio Shoes has 5 stores in the Toronto area selling over 20 recognized brands as well as its own private label called "Markio Design Collection". Initially scheduled for a three-week run, the campaign may be extended for a longer period of time. Advertising for Capezio Shoes is handled by The Metrick System of Toronto.
