PRIMETIME PUBLISHING MOVES TO THE HEAD OF THE CLASS

PrimeTime Publishing is getting ready to go back-to-school. The Edmonton-based publishing company was recently awarded the contract to produce the Cable in the Classroom magazine. Cable in the Classroom is a non-profit initiative by 52 cable companies and 38 programming services, that makes commercial-free educational cable television programming available for classroom use. PrimeTime will release its first issue in August at which time the magazine will debut its new look. Nori Gowan, executive director of Ottawa-based Cable in the Classroom, said in celebration of the magazine's five year anniversary, CITC wanted a new look and feel for the publication. Cable in the Classroom is published three times a year in August, December and March. It has a circulation of 55,000 and is distributed in 12,000 publicly funded schools, through educational events and organizations and through direct mail to a subscriber list of teachers and educators.
