IBM CANADA PROMOTING GLOBAL SERVICES

IBM Canada, based in Markham, Ontario, breaks a new advertising campaign today promoting its global services division. The campaign is part of a US$75 million worldwide ad effort targeting an audience of CEO's, CIO's and marketing vice presidents, a group IBM has categorized as "new decision makers." In Canada, English and French ads will focus on e-business and run in national business and news magazines. The campaign broke in the U.S. last week and is scheduled to run in the Europe and Asia-Pacific markets as well. Ogilvy & Mather of New York created the ads.
