SEMPRA ATLANTIC FILLS UP AT SHANDWICK AND SGCI
By Adnews Staff
Halifax-based Sempra Atlantic Gas has awarded its marketing/advertising account to Shandwick Canada and SGCI Communications. The Halifax office of Shandwick will be working on the account in partnership with SGCI, which will expand into the Nova Scotia market. SGCI partner Doug Simpson says the agency has been considering such a move for some time. Sempra Atlantic Gas had shortlisted five unnamed agencies for the account, which is estimated to be worth $3 million the first year. Advertising and marketing initiatives for the Nova Scotia market will include print and broadcast executions. Previously the account was handled through Sempra Atlantic's parent company Sempra Energy and its agency-of-record Goldberg Moser O'Neill of San Francisco, as well as additional agencies on a project basis.
