TELUS AND DDIS CALL UPON O&M

Telus Advertising Services of Calgary and Dominion Directory Information Services of Burnaby, B.C. have awarded its creative advertising account to Ogilvy & Mather. O&M, which was the incumbent in Alberta, was shortlisted with Vancouver-based Bryant Fulton & Shee, which was the B.C. incumbent. Larry Mattson, vice president, marketing, Telus Advertising Services, explained the two companies conducted an agency review to consolidate its advertising efforts in B.C, Alberta and Ontario. Work for the roughly $10 million account will be divided between the Calgary and Vancouver offices of O&M he said. Telus Advertising Services handles white and yellow page directories and advertising services for small and medium size business. DDIS partners with Telus to produce 52 directories and provide services to businesses throughout B.C.
