YOUNG CANADIANS INSURED THROUGH KANETIX.COM

Toronto-based online insurance marketplace Kanetix.com is reaching out to young Canadian drivers through a new advertising campaign. Kanetix.com launched in mid-December. The site offers online insurance quotes for both auto and property insurance. Gregory Ellis, co-founder said the site currently offers quotes from six different insurance companies but plans are in the works to expand that number. The free access site is currently providing quotes for the province of Ontario only through a five step process but as more services are added, Kanetix.com hopes to expand nationally. The new advertising campaign, Kanetix.com's first, is targeting young drivers in the 20-32 year age group. Print and transit shelter advertising, wild postings and bathroom posters in the Greater Toronto Area are being supported with a direct mail campaign. The advertising is designed to illustrate both the speed and accessibility of the site. Advertising and media for Kanetix.com is done by BBDO Response of Toronto.
