ONTARIO PLACE GEARS UP WITH FUEL

The Ontario Advertising Review Board has announced a decision in the Ontario Place Corporation agency competition. Toronto-based Fuel Advertising has won the account following a review which included Publicis SMW, Axmith McIntyre Wicht, Cundari Group, Young & Rubicam and Grey Canada. The corporation was searching for a full-service advertising agency that could provide a range of advertising and promotion services. In other competition news, presentations for the Ontario Science Centre competition begin Monday and a decision is expected in the new year. Vying for that account are Axmith McIntyre Wicht, Communiqué, Echo Advertising, Harrod & Mirlin/FCB, Ranscombe & Co. and Wolf Group. The Centre is searching for an advertising and creative services shop.
