AD CLUB PRESENTS AWARD OF MERIT FOR MAGAZINES

The Advertising Club of Toronto has presented its Award of Merit for Magazines to Reg Finlayson. Finlayson is director, business development, The Women's Group-Marketing Solutions, which is a division of Rogers Media. The award, launched by the Ad Club's board of directors in 1995, recognizes those in the media industry who have made an outstanding, long-term contribution to the industry. Finlayson who has held positions such as art director, promotions manager, advertising sales director and marketing director for Chatelaine magazine, has also served on several marketing committees for Magazines Canada. Past winners from the radio, newspaper and magazine industry include: 1998's winner Paul Jones of Canadian Business Media Ltd. and the award's first recipient Greg MacNeil of Multi-Vision Publishing.
