CORBY LOOKS TO CANADIAN STARS FOR TIME CAPSULE SURVEY
By Adnews Staff
As the new year approaches Toronto-based Corby Distilleries turned to Canadian celebrities to take part in its Canadian Club Time Capsule Survey. Corby Distilleries, which markets and distributes Canadian Club rye whisky in Canada, conducted the survey in the spirit of the 21st century asking Canadian personalities to determine what most defines them as Canadians. Singer/songwriter Kim Stockwood, actors Paul Gross from the series "Due South" and Gil Bellows from "Ally McBeal", movie director Norman Jewison and talk show host Mike Bullard were just some of the celebrities who shared their thoughts on important events and moments in Canada, items they would leave in the Time Capsule and what the world would look like in 100 years. Corby Distillers is continuing the Time Capsule theme by distributing bottles of Canadian Club in a special silver and black cylinder. The cylinder is designed for consumers to create their very own time capsule. The cylinder packaging and Canadian Club Time Capsule will be supported throughout the holiday season with in-store floor displays. The cylinder packaging and floor displays were created by M&PG of Toronto. PR for the Canadian Club Time Capsule Survey is being handled by Courtney Public Relations Group of Toronto.
