TELETOON & HASBRO COUNTING DOWN TO 2000 WITH TOY GIVEAWAY

Toronto-based animation station Teletoon is playing with Hasbro Canada Inc. of Longueuil, Quebec as the two partner together for the "Great Toy Giveaway-Countdown to 2000" contest. The annual promotion runs throughout the month of December. Children are encouraged to watch Teletoon between 4 and 7 p.m. to spot a randomly flashed toll free 1-877 number. The first 1000 callers through each time will qualify to win. From all the daily entries, one winner's name is drawn and that winner will start the new year playing with $500.00 of their own Hasbro toys. The Great Toy Giveaway also awards those children that don't qualify for the grand prize by automatically entering them to win one of 50 "Toon Cocoon" polar fleece bags. "Toon Cocoon" winner's names will be drawn at the end of the month. The "Great Toy Giveaway-Countdown to 2000" contest is being supported with promo spots running daily on Teletoon.
