ARMADA BRANCHING OUT WITH NEW MEDIA DEPARTMENT

Jacques Chalifour, president of Montreal-based Armada, said yesterday that the agency has implemented its own media department. The agency, which was founded in 1994, is said to rank among the top 15 advertising agencies in Quebec. The new media department will be under the direction of Helene Clement. Clement has more than 20 years experience in the advertising, marketing and media sectors, working on accounts for regional, national and international clients including Merck Frosst Canada, Rothmans Benson & Hedges, Pepsi, Kraft, Yoplait, Clearnet and Bank of Montreal. Armada is run under the direction of its three partners, Chalifour, Henry Fuoco and Nicole Frechette, and a staff of 45 employees.
