DDB Worldwide has announced the appointment of Norman Rigg as regional director of worldwide accounts, Asia. Rigg was previously chairman and CEO of DDB Group Canada. He will relocate to Singapore. His transition into his new role is expected to be complete by early next year. DDB Worldwide also announced that Frank Palmer will succeed Rigg as chairman and CEO of DDB Group Canada. Palmer's new role within the DDB Group is in addition to his role as president and CEO of Palmer Jarvis DDB. His appointment is effective January 2000.
The Hockey Company has announced the appointment of Leonard Rhodes, Craig Ryan and Michael Chiasson as global brand managers for the company's CCM, KOHO and JOFA brands respectively. Rhodes is former brand director at Molson, Ryan has held several positions within the company including director of product marketing. Chiasson joins the Hockey Company after serving as marketing director for Rise Ski Boots.
