KRAMER DESIGN GIVES FORD DEALERSHIPS A BRAND NEW LOOK
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Kramer Design Associates Ltd. has brought a new look to Ford Canada's 600 dealerships across Canada. The intention of the redesign, according to the Kramer, was an identification signage program with a futuristic feel that parallels Ford's showroom appeal. Jeremy Kramer, vice president and creative director of KDA said that not only has the signage been picked up by every Canadian dealership, it has also caught Ford's attention outside Canada. Once the Canadian installation is complete, the signage will be adapted for dealerships in the U.S. as well. The signage program includes primary entrance pylons designed to highlight Ford branding and the dealer's name, secondary pylons featuring electronic message boards and free-standing directional signage that identifies the driveway, customer service, parking, and showroom areas. The signage program was created with flexible options in size, height and site placement, to adapt to each individual dealership's needs. Steel Art Signs of Markham, Ontario handled the manufacturing and installation of the signage.
