Optimum Public Relations of Montreal has been chosen by Jeffrey Loria and David Samson to handle media relations regarding the Montreal Expos. Both Loria and Samson are in negotiations with Major League Baseball authorities to purchase the team. No comment from Loria or Samson can be made until baseball authorities approve the Expos relaunch plans, which is expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks. Optimum, a member of the Cossette Communications Group, was awarded the account after Loria met with several PR agencies.
