ALIANT AWARDS ACCOUNT TO THREE ATLANTIC AGENCIES

Aliant Telecommunications has awarded its advertising and media buying accounts to three Atlantic Canadian agencies. The three agencies were announced in a prepared statement from Aliant. The telecommunications company comprised of Island Tel, NBTel, NewTel and MTT, will be working with Corporate Communications Limited of Halifax, Pulse Marketing a Cossette Communications-Marketing company in Halifax and Allies. Allies is made up of Bristol Group of St. John's and SGCI of Sackville, New Brunswick. SGCI has a strategic partnership with Sharp Group of Charlottetown. According to Aliant, a transition plan is in place to transfer work from the company's existing roster of eight agencies to the newly announced three. The transition is expected to be complete within the next several months.
