By Adnews Staff
Dunkin' Donuts of St. Laurent, Quebec has launched a new advertising campaign while the company is in the midst of introducing a new look to the Quebec market. The donut chain, which operates 222 restaurants in Canada, working with its advertising agency PALM Publicite Marketing of Montreal, has created a new television campaign that is presented in the form of an ongoing sitcom. Each ad depicts "a slice of life" in a Quebec family and is presented with audience reaction and laughter. The spots do not mention Dunkin' Donuts repeatedly but the product is present. The first 30-second spot has already hit the airwaves and several more episodes are scheduled to follow. Dunkin' Donuts has begun a renovation program for its locations in Quebec. Six restaurants have already gone through a face life, designed to make the locations more relaxed, welcoming and user-friendly. Twenty additional locations are planned to be renovated in the upcoming months. Dunkin' Donuts is a subsidiary of Allied Domecq International.
