NEWAD DRIVING CLARION ON CAMPUS TOUR
By Adnews Staff
Clarion Canada Inc. of Oakville, Ontario is in the middle of its "Face the Music '99" campus tour, created to generate awareness for its car audio products. The campus tour, developed by NewAd of Toronto, is taking place on college and university campuses in Southern Ontario from September 14 to October 7, to coincide with students going back to school. The tour includes a large branded slot car racing track designed to allow student participation. A Clarion tent is set up to house the slot car activity. A demonstration vehicle, complete with Clarion car audio components, three television sets and a Nintendo game system, is also on hand. Promotion of the campus tour is being advertised on NewAd's mini board network throughout campuses in Southern Ontario. "This is a great opportunity for Clarion," said Clarion product specialist, Brad Wisnoski. "It has allowed us to interact and establish a relationship with the entire Southern Ontario student population." NewAd targets the socially active 18-34 year market through its Canada-wide indoor billboard and promotional network.
