NABS DISCOVERING AD INDUSTRY IS STRESSED OUT
By Adnews Staff
Following a review of the NABS National Advertising Benevolent Society of Canada's Stress Line, that was introduced in November 1998 and launched nationally in April of this year, the results show an trend toward work-related stress found in the advertising industry. The NABS Stress Line offers a confidential, short-term solution-focused service to anyone in advertising or its related industries as well as their families. Services provided include telephone counselling and referral services. To support the national Stress Line program, NABS' agency-of-record Palmer Jarvis DDB launched phase one of the Stress Line advertising campaign in Toronto advertising agencies and related businesses using miniboard ads, posters, direct mail pieces and print ads last November. The Stress Line will continue to be supported with advertising as Palmer Jarvis prepares for the launch of phase 2 of the advertising campaign, to be released this Fall.
