CIBC AND YTV TEAM UP TO RESEARCH TWEENS

CIBC Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce has teamed up with the national youth television network YTV Canada to be the exclusive sponsor of the financial category of the YTV Tween Report. The report is an annual national research poll about young Canadians aged 9 to 14 years. It looks at issues such as leisure time activities, allowance influence and aspirations of tweens. CIBC's sponsorship of the financial category will be called CIBC SmartStart Moola Matter$. The findings from the SmartStart Moola Matter$ section, which will study kids' attitudes towards budgeting, borrowing, back-to-school spending and saving, will be posted on the CIBC website and will be included in educational literature this fall when the report is released.
