Coca-Cola Ltd. of Toronto is launching a new promotion for Diet Coke and Caffeine Free Diet Coke drinkers in Canada. The promotion will be supported with in-store, point-of-sale materials designed by Impact FCB of Toronto and with an Internet program that will include two banners ads created by Modem Media.Poppe Tyson of Toronto. The first stage of the promotion offers consumers one of eight original recipes printed on 12- and 24-can packages of Diet Coke and Caffeine Free Diet Coke in September and October. The eight recipes are take from Crazy Plates, the second cookbook by best-selling authors and sisters Janet and Greta Podleski. The sister's first cookbook, Looneyspoons, was published in 1996 and sold over 750,000 copies. The book contained 150 original, low-fat recipes, food trivia, health & fitness tips and 300 cartoons. The second part of the promotion invites consumers to purchase a copy of Crazy Plates with an on-package coupon. The coupon has a value of $25 and allows consumers to purchase two copies of Crazy Plates for the price of one. The promotion will be available wherever Diet Coke is sold. Crazy Plates will be launched in September.
