IBM CANADA GIVES STORES A NEW NAME AND A NEW LOOK
By Adnews Staff
IBM Canada Ltd. of Markham, Ontario is giving its IBM Home Computing Stores a new name and a new look. Now known as IBM Stores, the locations will feature a new logo, interior layout and design. Three new locations are also set to open in Burlington, Ontario, Calgary and Montreal. IBM's existing 23 Home Computing stores will be rebranded under the new name. Each location will feature sections including small business, home and family entertainment, home networking and e-business, as well as notebook and desktop computer demonstrations. Each IBM Store will also have an IBM Virtual Store within it, giving customers access to a wider range of products from IBM's Canadian Advanced Fulfillment Centre. Print ads are supporting the new look and new name. The interior layout and design was created by Storie Design Associates of Brampton, Ontario. Advertising for IBM Canada is done by Ogilvy & Mather.
