TVO TEAMS WITH LOBLAWS, QUAKER OATS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING

A back-to-school promotion running from August 28 to September 10 is teaming up Loblaws, Quaker Oats and TVOntario in support of children's programming. The promotion, which marks the first time TVOntario has entered into a corporate partnership, will see $0.25 of each purchase of a specified Quaker Oats product sold through Ontario Loblaws stores being contributed by Loblaws to TVOntario's children's television. The promotion is being supported with promo spots on the TVO network, print advertising in Signal, TVOntario's member magazine, in-store point of sale displays in all 70 Ontario Loblaws stores, and promotion in September's Loblaws flyers. Impact/FCB of Toronto, Quaker's promotional agency, created the in-store point of sale displays. Promo spots running on TVO and print advertising in Signal were created in-house by TVOntario.
