CLEARLY CANADIAN BREATHING EASY WITH SUMMER PROMOTIONS

Clearly Canadian Beverage Corporation of Vancouver is attempting to build brand awareness with new summer promotions for its 0+2 oxygenated beverage. The first promotion is involves a MASH Jeep sweepstakes. A sampling team traveling from Ontario to British Columbia will be handing out bottles of 0+2 for consumer trial. Consumers will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win a MASH Jeep. The draw, scheduled to take place Labor Day weekend, coinciding with a special MASH marathon on Prime TV, is being promoted through spots on Prime. Creative for the television spots was done by Brand Effects of Toronto.

For its second summer promotion, Clearly Canadian is teaming up with Authentic Fitness Corp., manufactures of the Speedo brand. The promotion will offer consumers a free bottle of 0+2 with the purchase of any Speedo product at retail locations across Canada. A poster supporting the promotion featuring Olympic silver medalist Marianne Limpert will be in participating stores. Creative for the poster was also done by Brand Effects. Clearly Canadian's 0+2 beverage is enhanced with ten times the normal concentration of oxygen naturally found in water. Clearly Canadian produces "premium alternative beverages" which are distributed in the U.S. and Canada.
