MEDIACOM TAKING SARNIA TRANSIT TO WORK

Mediacom Inc. of Toronto has been awarded The City of Sarnia transit shelter advertising account. The 10-year agreement was previously held by Pattison Outdoor. Mediacom will build 40 new transit shelters with advertising faces in the first year of the agreement. The City of Sarnia win is the latest in Mediacom's transit shelter advertising contract wins. During 1998/99, the out-of-home media company won contracts with the City of Kitchener, London and Stratford. In addition, Mediacom has built billboards throughout south western Ontario while continuing to expand its product distribution throughout the area. A wholly owned subsidiary of Outdoor Systems Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona, Mediacom was established in 1904.
