ACA PUBLISHES ADVERTISING GUIDE

The Association of Canadian Advertisers has published a new guide for its members. The guide is called Advertising Services Agreement-Commentary and Model Agreement. Designed to act as a blueprint against which advertisers can compare their current agency contracts, the 120-page guide addresses contractual considerations including remuneration arrangements, billing procedures, avoiding double liability, confidentiality of information and intellectual property and other rights. According to the ACA, as advertising service agreements vary, it is intended that advertisers and agencies use the guide as a reference document.
