NEW HEALTHCARE COMMUNICATIONS FIRM INTRODUCED

Phase V Communications of New York and Cadence Healthcare Canada of Montreal have come together to introduce a new healthcare communications firm called Phase V Communications Canada. The new company has offices located in both Toronto and Montreal and hopes to offer Canadian clients a fresh perspective in traditional healthcare marketing. The joint venture combines Phase V Communications of New York, which is a global medical education firm, with Cadence Healthcare Canada, a Canadian healthcare marketing agency. Phase V Communications Canada will offer services such as opinion leader targeting, registry and development, OTC and DTC advertising, media placement, publication planning, direct marketing, public relations and interactive multimedia. Heading up the new company is Allan Portwine, as vice president and general manager. Portwine joins Phase V Canada from Lally, McFarland and Pantello where he was director of client services.
