JIM BEAM LOOKING FOR THE DRINK OF THE MILLENNIUM

Alberta Distillers of Vancouver, distributors of Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jim Beam Brands Worldwide Inc. of Deerfield, Ill., is holding a summer promotion/contest that will award one winner a grand prize trip for two to New Orleans. The contest, running until August 12, is looking for the creator of the Jim Beam 2000 Drink of the Millennium. To enter, participants submit an original recipe and name of their Jim Beam 2000 Drink of the Millennium. Recipes must list all the ingredients, and the alcohol content should not exceed 2 oz per cocktail, with at least 1 oz of Jim Beam included. Additional prizes include: a Jim Beam prize pack for two runner-up cocktails. The contest is being promoted using a media relations campaign by Strategic Objectives Inc. of Toronto.
