PALMER JARVIS NEARLY NAKED IN NEW CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Palmer Jarvis DDB of Toronto has launched a provocative advertising campaign for Nearly Naked of Toronto, a three-year-old retail lingerie store. The campaign goes beyond the boundaries of conventional campaigns with pictures representing the result of a good sex life. One ad shows a dusty television converter strewn with cob webs. Another shows a store receipt for the purchase of cans of whipped cream and a bed headboard with a cracked wall behind it. The campaign includes print advertising in daily newspapers and in-store posters. "We wanted to portray how lingerie enhances people's lives, in a very tongue in cheek manner," senior art director, PJDDB, Rich Pryce-Jones and senior copywriter, PJDDB, David Chiavegato said in a release. The campaign will run throughout the year.
