CAMPBELL HAS NEW PASTA AND FAT-FREE SNACKS

The Campbell Soup Company of Camden, New Jersey has joined forces with Sega of America to make Sonic The Hedgehog Pasta, which will be on U.S. store shelves in a month. The product is not currently destined for Canada because the deal now is only for the U.S., Campbell public information director Kevin Lowery told Adnews yesterday. The Canadian office is currently researching the idea. On another front, Campbell's Pepperidge Farm unit launched a line of reduced-fat and fat-free treats to the U.S. market this month, which includes cookies, brownies and snacks. If the products come to Canada, it won't be until at least January.
