POST CEREAL LAUNCHES GERRY AND FOREST SPOTS

Kraft Canada Inc. of Toronto is launching two new commercials. The tagline in each of the commercials is "Shreddies make you feel good". The spots, called "Gerry" and "Forest", were created by the Toronto offices of BBDO Canada. Each spot attempts to show that everyone has a passion that makes him or her feel good. Forest, a successful businessman, loves to play ping pong, whereas Gerry, a farmer, dreams of being a martial arts master. "We are extremely happy with the strategic direction for Shreddies," Kraft Canada, senior product manager, Andrea Wojnicki said in a release. "People identify with the spots in a way that they identify with the cereal." The Post Cereal Company, makers of Post Shreddies, Shredded Wheat, Honeycomb, Alphabits and Sugar Crisp cereals, is a subsidiary of Kraft Canada Inc.
