PROCTER AND GAMBLE MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE
By Adnews Staff
Procter & Gamble of Toronto is launching a nation-wide campaign supporting their Tide brand in the "Tide Dream Contest". The contest is designed to encourage Canadian children to share their dreams for the future. One child will win an appearance on a future Tide TV commercial and two children will each win one of two $5,000 RESP's (registered educational savings plan). To qualify for one of the three prizes, families are encouraged to visit a Tide Dream contest interactive video booth, pick up an entry form or submit their child's dream on home video. Those who share their dream by video will have a chance to be the one grand prize winner who will appear in a future Tide TV commercial. The contest runs from March 29 to June 20. Ten Tide Dream Contest interactive video booths will travel across the country visiting 60 locations in total. A donation of $0.50 for each visit to a booth will be made by Tide toward the Children's Miracle Network, an organization that helps hospitals help children. Officials could not be reached to confirm advertising plans for the contest. PR for the Tide Dream Contest is being handled by Fleishman Hillard of Toronto.
