EUROCOM PROMOTES HI-TECH RECOGNITION

Ottawa-based Eurocom Corporation has unveiled a campaign designed to increase trade between Ottawa hi-tech companies and promote recognition of the area's hi-tech products. The theme of the campaign features a new tag line "Born in Silicon Valley North" which will be printed on all products generated in Ottawa. The campaign officially launched last week at the Ottawa Center for Research and Innovation's Technology Showcase. "Most Ottawa-area hi-tech companies are small enterprises that often have difficulty gaining recognition, including with other local organizations," Eurocom president Mark Bialic said in a release. "This campaign will offer companies a chance to improve their communications with local companies by identifying themselves as Ottawa-based." Eurocom markets desktop replacement notebooks. The campaign was created in-house by Eurocom.
