TORONTO HOSPITALS CREATE NEW NETWORK, NEW IDENTITY
By Adnews Staff
The Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital and Toronto Medical Laboratory are forming a new network, under the corporate banner the University Health Network. Within the network, each hospital will retain its identity and name. In conjunction with the launch of the network, a new logo has been created. The logo, created by Ove Design & Communications Ltd. of Toronto, is a circle of three leaves, designed to represent the three hospitals and three activities: patient care, research and teaching. A closer look at the logo reveals three faces to represent the focus on patients. The network's primary areas include: Cardiac Sciences, Neurosciences, Oncology, Primary, Ambulatory and Community Care and Transplantation.
