LOYALTY GROUP EXPANDS AIR MILES PROGRAM

The Loyalty Group of Toronto is showing even the little people count. The company is continuing its commitment to the small business market with the expansion of its AIR MILES for Business Program which targets small business owners. The expansion is being lead with the sponsorship of six blue-chip companies including American Express, AT&T Canada, Holiday Inn, Liberty Health, NEBS Business Forms and UPS courier services. Now AIR MILES business collectors can earn points when they ship with a courier, buy supplies, pay their monthly long distance telephone bill, arrange hotel accommodations or get health insurance policy recommendations, in addition to earning miles on both their personal and business spending. In total their are now over 26 business sponsors already in the program. The Loyalty Group will be launching a new television campaign, created by Oglivy One Worldwide of Toronto, in April, that will run for 13 weeks. Direct mail advertising to exisiting clients will also be used. The program offers rewards designed specifically to meet small business owners needs. These rewards include a one-to four-day great escape to Las Vegas and other Canadian resorts, a large screen television, a compact CD stereo, a golf bag and more. The Loyalty Group launched the AIR MILES Program in 1992, offering Canadians the opportunity to collect AIR MILE reward miles while shopping for everyday goods and services. To date there are more than 120 participating sponsors with over 10,000 sponsor locations.
