BID.COM AUCTIONS ADVERTISING SPACE

Bid.Com International Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario, an on-line auction company, has introduced advertising on its Canadian site located at <http://www.bid.com>. Through a partnership with Rogers Media Inc. and using its new interface designed to accommodate banner ad space, Bid.Com will begin serving ads on April 15. Rogers is handling sales for Bid.Com's site as part of a marketing services agreement between the two companies. The agreement combines Bid.Com's auction platform with Roger's national media properties and advertising sales experience. Advertising opportunities on the site include banners, merchant buttons and category sponsorships. Bid.Com has already booked advertising from Yellow.ca, Canada's on-line directory, Indigo Books, Music and Cafe and cdplus.com Inc. Bid.Com launched its Canadian site in November. The site offers an auction event with bargains on products such as computers, sports equipment, gifts, vacation packages and jewelry.
