By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Clearnet Communications is asking the eternal question in the theme of its new advertising campaign, 'Why have a home phone?' The communications company is promoting the accessibility of wireless communication through its new flat rate add on option of unlimited evening and weekend calling for $45. a month. The campaign, created by Taxi Advertising & Design of Toronto, broke earlier this month with national radio spots featuring the song "Release Me" sung by Englebert Humperdinck and newspaper advertising featuring a frog being let loose from a jar and the tag line "Inside ever home there's a phone waiting to get out". Additional television and outdoor advertising is planned to launch next week.
