MANIFEST GIVES GEORGE BROWN A FRESH LOOK
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Manifest Communications Inc. have launched a new campaign that will reposition the way people perceive Toronto's George Brown College. The campaign is based on a new visual identity and a change of emphasis on its name. Formerly marketed as George Brown - The City College, the institution is going by the name The City College - George Brown. Designed to reach out to people in the community, the campaign called "Are You Ready?" is intended to challenge students, employers and the community-at-large to enroll at George Brown, hire its graduates or to support the college. The campaign includes a series of billboards, murals, magazines, subway, interior transit and handbill ads developed by Manifest featuring everyday objects and scenes in urban Toronto life. Scrawled on a blackboard in each scene are improvements the college students would make to the situations. The campaign is scheduled to run from mid-February to mid-May. A series of special events are also being planned as part of the campaign, with a media relations program scheduled for the spring.
