FURBY BUDDIES JOIN POPULAR TOY LINE

Tiger Electronics of Vernon Hills, Ill., is expanding its Furby toy line. Furby Buddies, which are small bean bag versions of the electronic toys, debuted in Braintree, Mass. last week. National rollout of the line is scheduled for Spring. Furby Buddies will be available in Canada at Toys-R-Us stores and other major retailers. Promotion of the new line will be done but plans have not been confirmed.
