KIDSUMMER LOOKING FOR SPONSORS
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Today's Parent Group is looking for sponsors for its Kidsummer 1999 program. Kidsummer is a summer-long series of events for children aged four to 12. It will offer 62 events from July 1 to Aug. 31 in Toronto and surrounding communities. The events will explore such things as arts and culture, social services and the environment. The cost for a primary sponsor is $30,000, while the cost of a secondary sponsorship is $12,500. Sponsors will receive multimedia promotional package, category exclusivity, event sampling and coupon distribution. In addition, they will receive daily media and advertising exposure through Kidsummer media sponsorship. Sponsors for this summer's events include Crystal Springs and AIM Funds Management. Media sponsors include CHFI-FM 98.1 and GO Transit. Today's Parent publishes 13 magazines. It bought the Kidsummer program from Toronto Life magazine last year. Toronto Life remains as a media sponsor.
