By Adnews Staff
The Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire has opened for business. The hotel is the first to be built in Calgary since 1981. The 325 room, 15 storey, all-suite hotel offers the business and leisure traveler large rooms, two restaurants, a pool pavilion with waterslide and a business centre. Each room has direct connect, high speed access to the Internet, three telephones, including a two-line speaker phone, two televisions, data ports, complimentary local phone calls and calling card access. With any down time business travelers may have, the Sony PlayStation video game system is located within their room. Added features include a health club, double whirlpool tubs in 44 of the suites, a ballroom, as well as meeting and conference rooms with video conferencing. The Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire is independently owned and operated by Pacrim Developments Inc. A national advertising campaign for the new hotel started earlier this month using print and outdoor ads, direct mail, airport posters and electronic media advertising. The campaign was created by Beckette Creative of Calgary.
