Darcia Joseph has been named managing director and chief operating officer of Toronto-based Young & Rubicam Canada. Most recently she was marketing vice-president at The Globe and Mail. Joseph has also held senior marketing positions at Rogers Communications and T. Eaton Co. Ltd. She also spent 10 years in account management at advertising agencies. Jason Brommet and Claudia Perras have been promoted from account coordinators to associate account executives at Wunderman, Cato, Johnson of Toronto. Marci Somers is now at the agency as account supervisor. Previously she was a freelance marketing consultant. Rita Dupon has joined WCJ as media buyer. Formerly she was media executive at The Media Group of Toronto.
